Ellie B Donovan is born just after 10PM weighing in at 7pounds 2ounces.  Proud parents Amy and Corey are elated to welcome our beautiful baby girl to the Donovan family.  She is named after two great grandmothers, Eleanor (or Ellie) and Bernice or (Bunce).  Big brother Jett has been an awesome helper.  View pictures online at Flickr here.

We moved into our new home just south of downtown St. Paul.  We felt very fortunate to find our home at a price we could afford.  It sits on a park with a lake view and our own tennis/basketball sport court in the back yard.  We have much more space inside and out from our former Linden Hills home.  We'll certainly miss "the lakes" and our old neighbors, but we're much closer to our many east-side friends and relatives now.

We can't believe we aren't "newlyweds" anymore, two years has gone so fast!  Plus, we are still crazy about eachother and can't believe our good fortune to have stumbled upon one another.  We spent our 2nd Anniversary at our rehearsal dinner locale, The Old Spaghetti Factory for a tasty family dinner and we're leaving in days for a family trip out West for Corey's 30th Birthday.  We're visiting several parks including Yellowstone, Tetons and Arches, watch for pictures!!!

We recently celebrated our one year anniversary by going back to Christo's for a tasty greek dinner.  We then went to the Donovans - Cottage Grove branch - to share the top layer of our wedding cake which had been frozen and (nearly) preserved for the past year.  We also spent a very nice weekend on the north shore of Lake Superior.  

We have had a wonderful first year.  We have grown as a family and have had plenty of  fortunate things happen this year.  Jett had a lot of fun and did terrific at his new school, Lake Harriet Elementary.  Amy finished her first year of studying Nursing at St. Kate's and Corey's company moved to new offices in Minnetonka.  We welcomed two cute little nieces to the family - Aaliyah and Olivia.  Brother Luke married his sweetie Amanda and Cousin Amy brought little Will and a husband, Patrick, into the fold.  We've been embraced by friends, family and neighbors and we are all thankful to have such terrific people around us.
